The following contemporary commercial projects were created by the renowned interior designer from Washington, Lisa Bartolomei. After studying Art and Design and Italy, Lisa decided that it was time to finish her degree in interior design at the University of Maryland. Later, she studied in Fine Art, Architecture and Antiques in England, France, Italy and at George Washington University.  Today, Lisa Bartolomei is famous for her inspiring commercial projects and glamorous interiors, as you can see from the following pictures…  From Amman, Jordon, Palm Beach, Florida, Bermuda, Greenwich, Conn., New York City, and The Hamptons, to San Francisco, Cape May, NJ, Palm Desert, CA and Washington, DC, the interior designer has completed incredible design projects in many places across the country.

After working with major architecture firms specialized in commercial projects (like hotels, restaurants, banks, retail stores, law offices, condominiums, and health care facilities) for 10 years, the interior designer decided that it was time to begin her own adventure. She founded her own inspiring design studio that is recognized as Bartolomei &Company  in 1986.

Before this incredible chapter of her professional life, Lisa worked as a director of Interior Design at Mariani & Assoc. Architects and led the team designing the interiors for the Leavey Center at Georgetown University which encompassed 5 restaurants, a 150 room hotel, book store, travel agency, ballrooms and offices.

This design studio is specialized in high-quality interior design services focused on boutique commercial projects and high end residential. One of her most recent projects includes extensive renovations and interior design projects for 4 condominiums at the Georgetown Ritz Carlton as well as a total house renovation in McLean, transforming a Georgian brick home into a stucco Italianate country estate and the total renovation of a home in Palm Desert, California.
