Miles Redd has already been recognized as Architectural Digest’s AD100, for the astounding projects that have been delivered throughout the years. Every project clearly shares his touch and this recent project is no different. With that in mind, Home and Decoration would like to give you the tour for this New York City Lodge that was the beautiful work of this top designer.
We begin on one of the most important rooms in the house, the master bedroom. There’s a custom wallpaper by Iksel-Decorative Arts that wraps the master bedroom, along with a Vintage Victorian maple chaise lounge. To complete, there’s a vintage chesterfield velvet sofa with a 20th-century French gilt-metal side table and a custom canopy bed.
In the great room, the designer captured the existing log elements to join patterned seating and bright accents. Custom club chairs wear a Lee Jofa linen, along with the table skirt in a Holland & Sherry wool felt with Samuel & Sons trim.
The kitchen is an absolute delight, with its amazing color. The high-gloss kitchen floors are painted in Benjamin Moore‘s Chrome Green. The classicism behind this room is perfectly mixed with the style of the whole lodge, delivering an amazing and traditional style1
The study is a peculiar and special room in the house, due to this Randolph Morris wood soaking tub. One can argue that this tub could be the wrong choice for a study, but nothing’s more original than that. To complete it all, there are Antique rugs that were purchased at Doyle.
Reds and greens effortlessly blend in a guest house bedroom. The custom headboard by Miles Redd for Ballard Designs wears a plaid by Suzanne Kasler for Ballard Designers.
