The following American architects are a worldwide inspiration for the architecture industry and design lovers. The Pritzker Prize winners not only have created several modern architecture projects but also some inspiring interior design projects that look they came right out of a magazine cover!
#1 SOM

Founded in 1936, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) is one of the largest and most influential architectures, interior design, engineering, and urban planning firms in the world. Known for their iconic buildings that combine design excellence, innovation, and sustainability, the renowned architecture studio has completed more than 10,000 projects in over 50 countries.

#3 Peter Pennoyer Architects

For 25 years, the award-winning design studio with a traditional architecture style is recognized as a leader in classicism and historic preservation. Based in Manhattan and with an office in Miami, Florida, the firm has built a substantial and varied body of work across the country and abroad for residential, commercial, and institutional commissions often involving historic buildings.
#4 Thom Mayne

Thom Mayne founded in 1972 his own design firm, called Morphosis, that is now involved in rigorous design and research that yields innovative, iconic buildings and urban environments. Mayne’s approach toward architecture and his philosophy is not derived from European modernism, Asian influences, or even from American precedents of the last century. He has sought throughout his career to creating an original architecture, one that is truly representative of the unique, somewhat rootless, the culture of Southern California, especially the architecturally rich city of Los Angeles.
