We want to show you another awesome exemple of contemporary design, the project of an architecture and design firm MAP/MX headquarted in the fantástica city of New York.
The project is located in Mexico City, in a residential complex. Because of its location on the top floor of a 10 story building, we modified the layout to expose the structure of the space and create a terrace with amazing views of the city.
The P1 has an amazing view over the city’s skyline, and spreads over 6,458 square foot, showcasing a awesome interior and a wonderful garden-like terrace.
The ground floor houses the public areas such as living and dining room, study, an open terrace as well as service areas; the private areas are located on the top floor.
The apartment creates a continuous space which is achieved through a stone wall that divides public and private areas. In the most public area of the house, the living room, there is a double height, creating a visual relation between public and private space.
Simply spectacular, the apartment has an interesting space division: a stone wall separates the private area from the public one.
With an impressive relaxation spot embedded and a staggering view over the city, the P1 apartment is ideal for those who enjoy both, the natural and the urban environments.
This is the perfect place for living.
