Bauhaus Trend is recognized as one of the greatest and most important expressions of what is called Modernism in design and architecture. It has been a landmark through the history of the Bauhaus, demonstrating style, modernity, and ideology. The Bauhaus has had a huge impact on interior design and modern furniture and today, Home And Decoration is going to show you how you can introduce this style into your home decor.

The Bauhaus style is all about reducing things down to their basic elements and it’s synonymous with clean, pared-back spaces and streamlined geometric forms. Here are some ideas inspired by the Bauhaus style that can be in any room of your house.

ISAAC RUG

A triumph of geometry and colors, which combines rounded, square and vertical lines. An unusual combination of colors makes it provocative and, at the same time, impossible to not observe the surprising harmony of the whole.

LOLA RUG

Pop style and geometry hold hands in Lola, a hand-tufted rug full of personality dynamism, in which the design plays with the conjugation of straight lines and the round shape of the rug. Made with New Zealand wool and linen, the bold colors from Pop style contrast with the Mid Century brown and grey, in an interesting conjugation of styles.

SUSY RUG

Graphic design inspired by the conjugation of light and shadows with different perspectives of relief colors. The reference of wood brown shades makes this rug the perfect Mid-Century piece.

BAUHAU RUG

Based on the language of the German avant-garde movement – Bauhaus, was one of the greatest and most important expressions of what is called Modernism in design and architecture.
