Meet this unique home in Mafra, Texas! It’s a place you wouldn’t expect in the high desert of far West Texas, but the famous photographer Douglas Friedman, has fell in love with the surroundings of this amazing and eclectic place. With that said, Home And Decoration would like to take you on an exclusive tour where you can see absolute art in the middle of the desert.

Prestigious photographer Douglas Friedman fell hard for the ambiance of Texas’ ambiance, and that’s due to the incredible journey he actually has in order arrive at his home. The tour starts with the living room, with a Vintage seating and an RH sofa surround a cocktail table in the living room. This modern contemporary kitchen matches perfectly with the desert vibes of Mafra, Texas. It is perfect to have a nice get-together with friends and family, in a sophisticated manner.

This amazing bedroom, besides having a fantastic view over this hypnotizing desert, also presents a sophisticated touch of this specific space, with this outstanding bespoke bed, and elements that perfectly resemble the desert concept. The seating pieces, as well as the massive crafted rug, are definitely what stands out from this luxurious bedroom.

The outside area is surrounded by a never-ending beautiful desert, that presents itself as nature’s wonders. To complete the amazing look, there are some Vintage Bolivian pillows and textiles from Garza Marfa decorate a sofa beneath a pergola. To make the outside extra special, there’s a Brett Douglas Hunter sculpture.

This hallway is amazingly special, featuring the custom pieces of art around it. There’s a beautiful Isamu Noguchi pendant that hangs over, along with a Lex Pott table in the entry. To finalize, a Donald Judd chair, with art masks by Mexican artisan Don Tomas Nájera and fashion designer Carla Fernandez.
