Decorate With Benjamin Moore’s Color Of The Year For 2020 – When it comes to premium paints and stains for your home, Benjamin Moore has set the standard for excellence throughout the years. From neutrals to effervescent colors, to perfect balance between warm and cold, the famous design company has just presented the top trendy color trends. Let’s see which was the one selected to be the popular hue of 2020!
From their top contenders, Benjamin Moore has just revealed its Color of the Year 2020 as a warm, rosy pink named First Light. It’s the company’s first time choosing a pink hue for Color of the Year and symbolizes an upbeat and hopeful start to the next ten years.
Hence the company‘s arrival at First Light as well as it’s Color Trends 2020 Palette, a spectrum comprised largely of pastels including jade-green, sky-blue and sunny Golden Straw, among others. Benjamin Moore‘s describe this soft color tone as a “timeless wy to lighten up“.
The trend toward expressive, saturated colors signifies a departure from the more subdued Color of the Year 2019, the off-white Metropolitan, which Yeo says is intentional. This incredible color hue, chosen by Benjamin Moore as the “Color of The Year for 2020“, will make an ambiance full of cheerful, a place where you can actually relax and recharge the batteries for a daily basis.

“We’re always looking at years past and evolving. Last year’s Metropolitan was neutral and we did that on purpose. We said, let’s a step back, relax, and find comfort in our own homes. Once we’ve done that, we’re really ready for the next step. Now, let’s use color to express ourselves, be a little more upbeat, and happy,” explained Hannah Yeo, Color & Design Manager at Benjamin Moore & Co.

The soft pink color, considered as one of the trendiest colors for 2020 by Benjamin Moore & Co, is the perfect hue to create a unique ambiance in any home decor style. For example, as you can see in the picture, the soft pink tone was the star of this mid-century modern hall design since it is the perfect background for the incredible Edith sideboard by Essential Home.
