AD Design Show: MADE Section Celebrates Woman In Design – From product launches to special events to panel discussions with top design leaders on a variety of topics, the design show is a must-attend for the industry’s professionals and discerning consumers. This highlight of this year edition is the MADE section and all its stunning designs.
Celebrating the women in design is the theme of the 2019 MADE section at the AD Design Show that will host more than 50 companies founded or co-founded by a woman. These incredible exhibitors offer to the AD Design Show visitors an opportunity to discover new products and meet the makers behind them. As interior designers, ceramists, architects, metalworkers and artists (among others), these industry leaders are pushing boundaries and furthering their unique craft technique through creative exploration. L.A. based female artist is known for blurring the lines between art and design (a trend that is now starting to be quite popular among the art and design lovers)… In the 18th edition of the AD Design Show Bari decided to showcase her angular, architecturally-scaled vessels and planters.
Lydia Johnson – Lydia Johnson Ceramics
The cheerful American ceramist brought their fun and dynamic personality to the design event through her pattern-laden tabletop designs handcrafted from double-sided color clay slabs… A brilliant way to add a little bit of fun into your home decor, don’t you think?
Kathryn Faull – Maresca Textiles
The founder of Maresca textiles presented once again her vast selection of luxurious fabrics and wallpapers printed with a mix of made marks and digital printing techniques. Kathryn is famous for being one of the most renowned artists in the textile industry!

Tania Leipold – Laine + Alliage
You can see, for the first time at the AD Design Show, the amazing handcrafted pieces from Laine + Alliage studio, which was founded by a French designer called Tania Leipold. In this year edition, the interior designer presented some beautiful textiles and soft goods from her newest collections!
Marcia Zia – Zia Priven
Zia Priven is a renowned lighting design company that was founded by the former set decorator, Marcia Zia with the help of her husband, Paul Priven. The lighting design studio came to the AD Design Show with their famous HALO lighting collection, which is the newest dramatic and bespoke lighting designs from the company collections.
Rachel Robinson – durodeco
Last but not least, we have the architect Rachel Robinson which is also the co-founder of durodeco. The design studio presented to the show’s attendees an array of contemporary furniture and decor accessories, that evoke a timeless warmth through their new and old interplay
