New York City’s annual celebration of design, or NYCxDesign, attracts hundreds of interior design lovers from all over the world. The incredible design event celebrates a world of design and showcases over a dozen design disciplines through exhibitions, installations, trade shows, panels, product launches, open studios, and among other inspirational design ideas.
Organized by New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) with the help of a steering committee of leading members of New York City design community’s, the famous event highlights the unique creative, cultural, educational, and economic opportunities in New York City. With multiple events taking place in different places in the city, we can say that the NYCxDesign is everywhere!

16-21 May: WantedDesign
During NYCxDESIGN, there is also happening another incredible design event in the Big Apple called WantedDesign… This consists of a platform dedicated to promoting design and fostering the international creative community throughout the year.
The incredible event happens in two different places from the 16 to the 21st of May… The first “edition” known as WantedDesign Brooklyn takes place on 16-20 May, while WantedDesign Manhattan is from 18-21 May. Since you’re in town, these incredible design events are two of the most incredible design experiences in the city, so make sure you incorporate them in your incredible design city guide!
