From October 30th to November 3rd, Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show invites every yacht aficionado to attend this exclusive event. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is about to have its 60th edition on a set of five days filled with a lot of action, featuring around 1200 boats on display across seven locations in Florida. During that period, the city of Fort Lauderdale (known often as the “Yachting Capital of the World”) will live and breathe the true nautical lifestyle in what is currently considered as the largest in-water boat show on earth.
The yearly design event will be displaying exclusive products including the industry’s latest boats and yachts of varied sizes, alongside some worldwide debuts and, of course, the presentation of marine-related accessories and products. The Superyacht Village or the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will be open to all general admission ticket holders with direct access by water tenders and shuttle bus routes from the show’s other six locations. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and produced by Informa, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2019 and attracts a global audience of more than 110,000 yachting and boating enthusiasts from 52 countries.
Within the 60th anniversary context, during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, there will be a celebration on the Superyacht Village, that will also feature surprise and delight experiences and areas of discovery with programming taking place both day and night. Examples include exclusive, dedicated fine wine and champagne tastings, intimate concerts, pop-up luxury fashion and jewelry exhibits, automotive and superyacht toy interactives, award receptions, seminars, and the second annual FLIBS Best Yacht Chef Competition.
