That’s right, Lauren Rottet from the Rottet Studio was the interior designer behind this massive interior design project for this contemporary hotel, also located in Houston! Just like the project for the luxury condominium, this is another of the Covet International Awards 2018 finalists! Don’t forget that the big winner of this design contest is going to be revealed in the incredible Maison et Objet fair in Paris!
The founder and head interior designer of the Rottet Studio is famous for her ability to design innovative spaces, especially in the hospitality sector! The interior design of the Hotel Alessandra in Texas is a contemporary reinterpretation of Old World elegance, grandeur combined with European charm.
The interior design features true old world details such as the grandeur of arches, tall ceilings, and architectural volumes, that accentuates the natural contemporary style that Rottet choose!

The goal of the design was to create a modern space that could take you back to the past authentically without trying to deceive the guest. The color theme chosen by Rottet consists of the combination of neutral color tones, like white, graphite and gold with bold splashes of bright colors in details placed throughout the property.
Classical architectural elements are reinterpreted in new forms, accentuating the natural beauty of the historical structure and the contemporary interior decoration!
