The AW Design Studio, a polish interior design studio led by interior designer, Anna Wiatkowska, just entered the competition with their modern house project!
The private residence is for a young family, who love the classic elegance mixed with a modern style. Located in the South of Poland, the investment budget was about 200.000 Euro to transform the first floor of the residence.
Wiaktowska’s concept consisted of creating a comfortable space that reflects a cosmopolitan view of the world, using techniques adapted from the classics.
This modern interior design includes many different materials, such as glossy marble, like Nero Marquina and Carrara, brass (on openwork metal accent) combined with ash parquet in a warm shade.

The interior designer was able to create a space full of functionality with a selection of furniture, lights, and accessories like the Convex Mirror by Eichholtz. In the kitchen, you can find a huge island with long worktop which refers to the rest of the materials, namely to the large tiles by Calacatta.
The polish interior designer also included some bespoke pieces made by her, like the console in Art Deco style with brushed marble Emperador Dark and covered by oak veneer, but also a lamp which resembles the shape of triangular icicles that shrouds warm light.
