Dedicated to exploring the dynamic between natural and industrial elements, the cutting-edge modern furniture design studio Akke Functional Art run by noted designer Axel Yberg, which has earlier impressed the design world with its Pingtuated Equilibripong retro table that was designed to bring back the old world charm into ping-pong, has now created the most expensive poker table dubbed “All in”.
The exclusive poker that escalates the adrenal to bet, required 600 man-hours labor to produce, and boasts a surface constructed using 15 species of exotic woods, a base which has been fabricated with gold-painted plumbing pipes, and Edison Reproduction Light Bulbs.
Priced at $75,000, this collector’s edition poker table truly stands apart among the finest poker tables we have seen earlier, like the DiPoker Table, and the custom-built poker table from Mark Lackley.
Notably, the 15 species of exotic wood including Madagascar Ebony, English Brown Oak, Cherry, Rosewood, Catalpa, Purple Heart, Zebra Wood, Claro Walnut Wormy Maple, Black Locust, Quilted Maple, Sycamore, live-edge Ash, Black Walnut, and Quarter-Sawn White Oak.
The vectors bisecting each of the angle on All in’s perimeter have been crafted from lacquered Madagascar Ebony and Rosewood wood, while their red and black colors represent the suits in a deck of cards.
This idea is further carried into the turntable drink holders that are designed as a quadrant of Cherry and Black Walnut wood.
Further, the organic-nature of the live-edge Ash wood on the poker table’s perimeter symbolizes the fact that the game of poker truly requires complex thinking and plenty of skills, as opposed to a systematic game like Black Jack, while the steel horseshoes that surround the WPT logos also symbolize this fact.
And, the 5 diamond cutouts at the table’s center are actually a nod to the iconic Doyle Brunson and the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
This poker table brings Las Vegas feel into your home.
