The famous Céline brand is going to open a luxury flagship store in downtown New York City, designed by its creative director, Hedi Slimane. This luxurious high-fashion store is going to be one of the very first that features Céline’s new design concept!

In the luxury store project, Slimane wanted to capture the essence of the Céline brand, so the interior design, that almost looks like a bespoke art gallery, resulted from a combination of the designer’s signature aesthetics with unique and inspiring artworks.
The stores’ new architectural concept was the first project of Céline’s new retail strategy. Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles, London, Milan Shangai, and Beijing, the French fashion brand is going to incorporate this inspiring design concept in all of their stores spread around the world!

The new New York luxury flagship store in Madison Avenue is a 5000 sqft space that features inspiring wooden furniture designs placed over modern Basaltina floors. The luxury store project is enhanced with some black granite shelves, perfect for showcasing Céline’s handbag collection.
“Celine has a great distribution network and high-quality visibility, but no large stores. We need to open flagships in major cities — larger stores that can accommodate men’s wear and newly expanded women’s collections”, explained the brands’ current CEO, Séverine Merle.
As soon as you enter the space, you will be amazed by its modern and simple (in a good way) interior design… The contrast of the natural materials with the heavy color palette give the new modern store an aesthetic that’s both chic and austere.
