See House Beautiful’s Kitchen(s) Of The Year By Michelle Nussbaumer – For her incredible Dallas luxury home, the renowned designer wanted to create a trendy interior design while keeping the rustic essence of the original project. “Do things that are not trendy, things you actually respond to” is one of the designer’s famous life and professional mottos, and this amazing luxury residential project truly reflects this concept. Famous for her line in maximalism for the last 30 years, Nussbaumer’s design was considered the kitchen (s) of the year by the renowned House Beautiful magazine. This unique project features 5 timeless kitchen areas that are every design lover‘s dream! Discover more about this incredible project here!
The Main Kitchen:
The first kitchen area designed by Michelle Nussbaumer features a unique Art Deco vibe that goes with the rest of the home decor. In the main kitchen of her Dallas home, interior designer Michelle paired pink and blue cabinets by Ornare with Bergen Dekton by Cosentino countertops, the white surface creating continuity. Unpolished concrete walls and exposed steel beams are juxtaposed with glossy surfaces, bold color, and antiques.
The Cocktail Bar:
A few meters up, on the second floor of Michelle Nussbaumer‘s luxury mansion, there is a unique cocktail bar that looks like it came right out of luxury design magazine. Featuring 18-foot-high ceilings the luxurious cocktail bar was surrounded with fractured geometric Silestone.
The Art Kitchen:
Last but not least, we have the room where Michelle Nussbaumer had the chance to showcase her trademark pattern play. Featuring matching walls and drapes ( to keep the large-scale pattern from feeling frenetic) and unique Morrocan hardware pieces this incredible interior design project is the living proof that is possible to mix different styles and patterns in the same space!
