In order to capture the essence of the unique textile collection, Bikoff and Stark did research through the Stark brand archives where they could find the most inspirational design ideas for this New York City apartment. The luxurious Le Tigre silk velvet from Scalamandré’s Collection was used not only in some bespoke pillows for the living room decor but also in unique upholstered bowtie-shaped vintage dining chairs.
As you step inside the contemporary bedroom decor you’ll instantly notice the incredible hand-carved Indonesian wood doors. However, it’s the antique oil painting of a hunting dog above the headboard of the bespoke bed (which features some unique fabrics from Stark Textile Designs) that truly shows another of Chad’s main passions. “If there’s anything I like more than carpets, fabrics, and skiing, it’s dogs”, he says
