Texas Design Week is comprised of a series of Design + Art Talks by noted interior designers, architects, artists, product designers, and visionaries, with a full program of book signings, pop-up shops, salon talks, and cocktail events. Texas Design Week Houston occurs in Spring and Texas Design Week Dallas in Fall.

The dapper designer runs his interiors business, lifestyle brand, and shop on a historic block of Magazine Street in New Orleans. Currently designing actress Annie Potts’ home in New Orleans (“I was obsessed with “Designing Women” as a child”), Smith also has a line of cocktail and occasional tables coming out this summer. “My job is all about knowledge and finding the best for my clients, and my projects,” he says.

After completing a degree in fine arts, Pennsylvania native Carl Dellatore moved to New York City in the summer of 1983. For more than a decade he designed patterned textiles for the apparel industry before opening D&F Workroom, a Chelsea-based studio producing custom upholstery and window treatments for the interior design industry. In addition, he soon established CJ Dellatore Textile, his own line of furnishing fabrics.

Ariella Chezar is the author of Flowers for the Table and the flower workshop, and a Master floral designer whose work has graced the covers and pages of Martha Stewart Living, O Magazine, Smitten, Sunset, Garden Design, Better Homes and Gardens, Domino, Real Simple, Sweet Paul and many more. Ariella teaches workshops all over the world and has also designed flower arrangements for the White House. In the fall of 2017, Ariella came onto the FlowerSchool New York staff as Artistic Director and Master Designer.

Margot, the editor in chief of flower magazine, attributes her knowledge and appreciation of floral design to her former boss and mentor Sybil Sylvester, an esteemed florist in Birmingham, Alabama who has taught Margot the (garden) tools of the trade for the past four years. While working for Sybil in her downtown shop, Margot quickly learned to cultivate her aesthetic of floral design and nurture her appreciation for their healing properties.
