The Elizabeth Hotel Has A Soulful Interior Design – Inside the boutique hotel features multiple local arts from students, professors, and musicians, including music that will carry through the building. Find out more in here!
Open since December 2017, the Elizabeth Hotel is a 164-room boutique hotel in Colorado, is located on the edge of Old Town Fort Collins. The soulful interior design of this bespoke hotel celebrates the local music community with Bohemian Companies.
The Elizabeth Hotel also pays tribute to “Auntie” Elizabeth Stone, Colorado’s “founding mother” and owner of the first hotel in Fort Collins, known for her boundless energy. On her 81st birthday, the town community and four generations of the Stone family held a dance in her honor at the Masonic Hall.
The hotel project was created by a design studio called DLR Group. The interior designer wanted that the architectural language of the decor project transmitted a soulful energy ass well as the history behind the concept.
Every interior design choice of the project helps to elevate the personality of the charismatic project, like the MAYA Armchair from BRABBU. This bespoke velvety chair was the perfect solution for the contemporary style of the room.
“Love of music is inherent in the Fort Collins community, and so played an integral role in inspiring our design for The Elizabeth Hotel. One of the cornerstone amenities of the hotel is its lending library where guests can check out musical instruments, equipment, and records. We created spaces that would complement those musical foundations, infusing acoustic design into every part of the hotel to enhance the audible experience“, explains the DLR Group designers.
Since music plays a big part in Fort Collins town, the Elizabeth Hotel wants to keep her memory alive by playing melodies that remind her energetic personality, from top to bottom every day of the week.
