In May all of the design roads lead to the incredible New York City, for the most amazing design events. Besides the famous ICFF 2019, there is also another design event that you must incorporate in your inspiring city guide for NYCxDesign 2019!
We are talking about the WANTEDDESIGN 2019 which consists of a series of international design events that are happening during two main events in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Dedicated to promoting excellent design next to the international creative community, the WANTEDDESIGN 2019 features an extensive network of partners in the media, cultural institutions, trade organizations, global design weeks and more. This is a 360-degree design experience will give you access to innovative installations, memorable products, pop-up stores, convivial lounges, design workshops, among other incredible things.
Since 2011, the NYC design event focuses on welcoming the design trade and design lover to design events, inspiring conversations, and incredible partnerships. Every year, the design event serves as a popular and inspiring meeting point not only for design lovers but also for designers, manufacturers, buyers, distributors, craftspeople, among others. This year event will present the work of graduate students from over 30 international schools.

WANTEDDESIGN 2019 in Manhattan:
From May 18th to the 21st, Ameico Classics, Autonomous Furniture, Calma, Cappellini, Cairopolitan, Flos, Lake & Wells, Maison Fragile, Muratto and Symbol Audio are some of the incredible exhibitors that you can find at the Manhattan terminal stores.
The opening event will be on Friday, May 17, It is an invitation-only event. Opening hours:
- May 18th to May 20th: 10 am to 7 pm
- May 21st: 10 am to 5 pm
WANTEDDESIGN 2019 in Brooklyn:
The second part of the design event at the Brooklyn neighborhood will feature more participants than ever. Graduate students from over 30 international schools are expected to present their work. “Shelter Fallout”, “Game Changer”, “Smarin Bouncing Station” and “Design Transforms” are the main design events that you must attend in Brooklyn!
